Uganda deploys commercial attaché to Ankara Turkey.
Uganda has deployed Mr. Latim Nyeko as a commercial attaché to Uganda’s Mission in Ankara Turkey. During the briefing meeting with Ambassador Nusura Tiperu & officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we discussed the need for a positive Trade balance between the two countries among others.The need for commercial attaches/commercial officers at Ugandas Missions abroad has been severally reechoed by H.E. the President and he has provided a broader perspective, conceptual clarity and strategic interventions on commercial diplomacy. The major agricultural products that Uganda can take advantage while trading with Turkey include cotton, sunflower seeds or cotton oil, soya beans whether or not broken, among others.
