The Ministers of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives Hon. Francis Mwebesa and Hon. Harriet Ntabazi together with the Permanent Secretary, Ms. Geraldine Ssali accompanied H.E Yoweri Kaguta for a 3-day State Visit to Algiers at the invitation of H.E Abdelmadjid Tebboune. A number of memoranda of understanding between various sectors from the two countries were signed and the first ever business forum between Algeria and Uganda will be held. The two countries have strong regional, continental & international cooperation especially through regional and international organizations such as the African Union (AU), the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) and the United Nations.
