New National AGOA Strategy to Improve Uganda’s Performance in AGOA
Uganda has embarked on the development of a new strategy in a bid to improve on her performance in AGOA which has remained far below the expectations. Hon MTIC meets Investor from Poland
Poland has moved to strengthen trade relations with Uganda expressing interest in Uganda’s automotive production, renewable energy and agro-processing. While meeting Trade Minister Hon. Amelia Kyambadde, an investor from Poland and CEO of Geneva Capital Group Jerzy Bednarek said there are many Polish companies that would like to start businesses in Uganda. and their major areas of interest included automotive production (mainly production of utility cars), renewable energy, agro-processing, mining, finance and exchange markets, and sports. Uganda and Kenya Hold Talks to Harmonise Trade Between the Two Countries
The two ministers of Trade and Industry from Uganda (Hon. Amelia Kyambadde) and Kenya (Hon. Adnan Mohammed) have held talks to iron out some of the key issues affecting trade between the two countries.
