Talks between Uganda and Kenya on trade matters commenced on Monday 12 April 2021 with an opening ceremony held at Uganda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs offices. The Government of the Republic of Uganda (GoU) through the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives (MTIC) in collaboration with other government agencies with support from the World Bank is implementing the Great Lakes Trade Facilitation Project (GLTFP).
