2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

The National Grain Trade Policy 2015 has been launched. The Policy was launched by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives Hon. Amelia Kyambadde at Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala. The Policy aims at promoting growth and improving incomes of actors in the grain sub sector for food security and industrialization by use of modern post-harvest handling and value addition techniques, structured marketing and effective regulation.

Trade Minister Amelia Kyambadde meets Singapore Minister of State for Trade and Industry

Singapore has cautioned Uganda not to loose its agricultural sector to the mining industry especially to the newly discovered oil. The caution was made by the Singaporean Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Hon. Dr. KohPoh Koon, during a meeting with Trade Minister Amelia Kyambadde. Dr. Koh was in Uganda for a state visit to explore new growth opportunities and strengthen the trade relations between Singapore and Uganda. He came with a delegation of investors with interests in investing in Uganda.
